Noticing some tightness or pain in the front of your hip?

This is quite common in people who sit a lot – your hip flexor muscles (i.e. iliopsoas muscle) get shorter the more you sit.

So when you go to stand up straight, you can’t.
πŸ›‘
This muscle pulls and can create pain either in the front of your hip, or in your low back – two spots this muscle attaches to.

Using a lacrosse ball, or softball, can help you dig into this muscle to not only help loosen it up, but also to break up any adhesions or scar tissue that will stop this muscle from relaxing.

Remember:
1️⃣ Take time with this – 10mins per tender spot
2️⃣ Switch to the other side before returning for other tender spots to give it a break

Let me know how it goes! πŸ’¬
